Police in Sacramento said a second suspect had been arrested in connection with a weekend mass shooting that killed six people and wounded 12.
A police statement on Tuesday said 27-year-old Smiley Martin was seriously injured in the gunfire early on Sunday and remained hospitalized, but would be booked into jail once he is fit for incarceration.
