Casualties included 15 children, as families sheltering in a camp for displaced people were caught in escalating violence At least 60 people, including 15 children, were killed during an attack in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Wednesday, the latest in a series of violent assaults on civilians in the area. Armed men reportedly attacked the Plaine Savo camp in Ituri province, in the east of the country, with machetes and guns.
